Boutique's professional teeth whitening gel is high-strength, safe, incredibly easy to use, and delivers stunning results in just 2-3 weeks. Here's how we make it happen:
First, we'll invite you in for a quick chat during your initial consultation. Then, we'll take some precise digital impressions of your teeth. We use these to craft bespoke, custom-fit teeth whitening trays just for you. These trays are key to ensuring the gel spreads evenly, giving you stunning, consistent results.
Once the customised home whitening trays are ready, we will invite you in to collect them. We'll show you exactly how to use the gel and make sure you're totally comfortable with the whitening treatment process, before leaving us. Then you can use the whitening gel at home at a time that suits your schedule and for the duration discussed with your dentist.
After wearing your trays for the recommended length of time (usually just a couple of weeks), we'll invite you back to the studio. This is the exciting part – we get to see your amazing results together and make sure you're absolutely thrilled with your new, brighter smile!

The whitening trays are custom made to ensure a secure and snug fit when worn. They allow you to brighten your smile with no pain or interruption to your sleep.
Whitening treatment chemically removes stains but can also be effective on bacteria present in the mouth. You are also more likely to look after your teeth when you’re proud of them!
Initially, we will see you for a consultation appointment so we can check you are suitable for whitening and plan your treatment. You have the opportunity to ask any questions and we also determine whether day or night whitening would be preferable for you.
We will take digital scans of your smile so your bespoke whitening trays can be created. We also make sure we record the starting shade of your smile, so we can compare it to your results once treatment has finished.
When your whitening trays are ready, we show you how to apply the bleaching gel and leave you to get started at your own pace at home. We still keep a close eye on your teeth, and ensure you know you can get in touch during your home treatment if you have any concerns or questions.
After you have worn your trays for the specified length of time, we see you again to view your results and check you are happy with your new whiter smile!
The Edinburgh Dental Studio fee for Tooth Whitening is from £440.00. This can be split into three payments if you prefer– at booking, at your appointment for impressions, and at your final session.
Your teeth whitening results can last anything from a few months to a couple of years, depending on your individual case. It is easy to top up if necessary, using your original whitening trays and new gel supplied by your dentist.
All natural teeth can be whitened, but the treatment is not effective on dental restorations such as fillings, metal or porcelain crowns, bridges or dentures. You may choose to replace these with ones that match your new shade after whitening treatment, if necessary.
