Most of our new patients come to us by word-of-mouth referral from our satisfied patients. However, we are increasingly finding patients coming to us after searching the internet. You may be looking for something more than NHS Dentistry can offer and wish to continue with regular appointments now that the NHS is cutting back on the frequency of reviews – or you may be looking for a practice that puts Hygiene at the centre of what it does. You may be unhappy with the results of your existing dental work or you may be looking for a more relaxed, friendly environment.
When you first visit us for general dentistry you will experience our 16 point initial dental health examination, which we carry out at every dental review, which will allow us to ascertain the condition of your teeth and gums and diagnose any problems.
Therefore, we start your journey with this thorough check which includes:
These procedures give us a complete picture of your oral health, which we then use to compile your individually tailored, bespoke, treatment programme.
You can join us as a Pay-As-You-Go patient or you can spread the cost of regular visits and enjoy discounts on treatment if you become a member of the practice and join one of our Membership Plans.
You don’t need to put off seeing the dentist. It doesn’t matter how long it’s been or what state your teeth or gums are in. The first step back on the road to dental health is an appointment to discuss what it is that you want done and a simple Dental Health Check with one of our team.
At Edinburgh Dental Studio we will be able to boost your oral health – and your confidence – and remedy any issues that may have been causing discomfort.
We are pleased to offer Edinburgh Dental Studio Practice Membership, which offers a unique package of benefits to our patients and is designed to help spread the cost of preventative dental care with convenient monthly payments.
We find most of our patients need our Classic Membership which covers two dental health checks and two hygiene visits per year. However, we appreciate not all patients require the same level of care therefore alternative options are available – your dentist will establish what is right for you.
We believe with passion that prevention is better than cure and there is now considerable evidence that good dental health improves general health. We find that patients who are practice members are more likely to come to see us for their regular visits – and when they take on board the advice given by our Dentists and Hygienists, they develop better dental health, which in turn leads to less need for intervention.
Membership ensures you have access to quality dental care, offers you a simple, flexible way to pay for your dental care and is designed to encourage you to visit us regularly.
Regular visits will mean:
We will help you complete the simple documentation at reception.
