At the Edinburgh Dental Studio, we appreciate that a visit to the dentist can be a worrying experience for some patients. Our aim is to take the stress out of a visit to the dentist which is why we have designed our dental practice to retain a non clinical and homely reception and waiting area. We exhibit works of art in our public areas to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. We update our exhibitions with the changing seasons and launch each exhibition with a social gathering. The works of art are available to purchase – if you would like an invitation to come to an event please complete your details in the form provided and we will add you to our mailing list.
Current exhibition by Diane Mitchell
Diane, originally from Cheshire, has lived in the Scottish Borders since 1972. Formerly Assistant Adviser for Art with Scottish Borders Council, she has always painted and has had exhibitions in the South of France, Edinburgh and the Borders.
The paintings on show reflect her love of the area around Laurac le Grand, the beautiful hilltop village in the Languedoc region of France where she and her husband own a house. The sun soaked landscape, rolling hills, ancient buildings, sunflowers, vines and blue skies have been a source of constant inspiration.
