We are pleased to announce that in the coming months there will be some exciting changes to the two dental practices operating at 6 Randolph Place in Edinburgh.
Patricia Arbuthnott, owner of the Randolph Place Practice for 12 years, has decided to retire at the end of May so that she can spend more time with family in Zimbabwe. Patients of the Randolph Place Practice should be receiving a letter regarding the impending changes.
Graeme Smart, owner of the Edinburgh Dental Studio, will be taking ownership of the Randolph Place Practice in June – and in the future the two practices will merge. It is intended that there will be a slow and steady transition towards one combined practice but initially there will be no changes in the day to day running of the practices – both telephone numbers can be used to contact us, for example.
We are pleased that Patricia’s assistant, Lesley, and hygienist, Elaine, will join the Edinburgh Dental Studio to help with the transition – Lesley has over 24 years’ service with the Randolph Place Practice – and both will become important members of the merged practice team.
Dr Phoebe Brown will be joining the practice as an Associate Dentist, and her primary responsibility will be to look after the Randolph Place Practice. Phoebe is from Edinburgh and trained in Leeds. Dentistry runs in the family and her father has a neighbouring dental practice in Manor Place. We look forward to welcoming Phoebe to the team.
Completing the new line up, another new addition to the team will be Imogen Robertson who is coming to us as a Dental Nurse Apprentice. Imogen will undertake her training in the new practice and will be a welcome addition to the Dental Nursing team.
Edinburgh Dental Studio has seen steady growth over the past year or so and over the coming months there will be further additions to the team so that we can further expand the services that we offer patients. We look forward to putting our mission statement into practice
